Susanne Lattek

Since 1988, I have worked as an attorney in Berlin and I specialise in family law, general private law and criminal law (including criminal transport law and misdemeanours, as well as civil action). I do not defend clients who are indicted for sexual offences and I do not represent men in contentious family law cases. All counselling can be provided in English.

I was born in Waiblingen in 1956. After completion of my studies in social pedagogy and subsequent work for an association for the resocialisation of juvenile offenders, I studied law in Berlin since 1979. I underwent my Legal Traineeship at an ordinary tribunal for private and criminal law cases, the State Attorney of Berlin, and the American Civil Liberties Union in St. Louis/USA.

I have offered counselling in the women centres FreiFrau and Paula Panke, at Lara (Krisen- und Beratungszentrum für vergewaltigte Frauen) and the JFH Haus Wetzlar. For almost 30 years, I have regularly provided counselling at the „MANEGE“ in Neukölln and I have been a trainer in various organisations (including economista e.V., Förderverein für Jugend- und Sozialarbeit e.V., Verein für sozial-kulturelle Bildungsarbeit e.V., and the Internationaler Bund für Sozialarbeit) for many years.

My office is also the office of the association „Nebenklage e.V.“, of which I am a pro-bono board member.
